ALP 303 “Financial Analysis and Measurement for Impact” flipped course
“As part of the new Action Learning Program, we helped create a new “flipped” course with the LDT team and instructors Jaclyn Foroughi and Maureen McNichols. “Analysis and Measurement of Impact provides students the opportunity to work with organizations that are focused on achieving impact, including impact for-profits, investment funds, and evaluators.

Approach
We worked with faculty to convert lecture notes to decks, then quickly used those to develop videos and animations. Simultaneously, we developed software and equipment techniques to allow faculty to create high quality recordings offsite, at their own pace. We were able to deliver the entire course in less than one academic quarter.
Results
"We so appreciate all the contributions everyone... has made to help us launch the first year of ALP 303. It has been terrific to be able to go to class and discuss issues with the students, knowing they had access to the content through the amazing videos and Canvas modules your efforts brought to life. Huge thanks for all the ways you have collaborated with us on our first year of ALP 303. Jackie and I are in awe of your talents and so grateful for all your help."
"Working with the LDT was an absolute dream. They helped us set realistic expectations, provided clear instructions, turned items around quickly, and managed the process every step of the way. Best of all, they anticipated our needs, which made for a smooth working relationship all around (and they laughed at my corny jokes, which is key!). The final products were smooth, beautiful, and engaging. We are so grateful for the team’s contributions, and I look forward to finding some way to work with them again!"
