If you have guests without a sponsored SUNet ID who will join your Zoom session, you’ll need to provide them a direct Zoom link since they will not be able to log in through Canvas.
After scheduling your live Zoom session in Canvas, get the direct link by following these steps:
- In your Canvas course, click the Zoom menu.
- Go to Upcoming Meetings and choose the meeting that your guest will join.
- Use the link to Invite Attendees (or click “Copy the Invitation” to copy full invitation details including options for dialing in by phone).
- Provide the link or copied invitation details to your guest(s) by email or within a calendar invitation.
