March 10: Beyond Zoom – Faculty Showcase on Engaging Students in the Online Course

In this virtual faculty showcase, Becky Lester, Hanno Lustig, and Jesper Sorensen will share practical tips on how they promoted student engagement during and outside of class time. You’ll hear examples of using polls to anchor student attention, extending the conversation out of class time, and creating short interactive videos to help students focus on key ideas and prioritize class time for in-person activities. 

This event will kick off the Engaging Students in Online Courses series and will be followed by deep-dive presentations scheduled over the following weeks:
